Success comes to those who thirst for it, those who are bold enough to forcefully take it. Success is an unwilling bride and needs a strong man to court it.

Get off your ass and stop mopping around!!

Start living, after all, life is for the living. Yes, I know you have a long sob list of how shitty life is!

Well sorry to burst your bubble, life is and will always be unfair. Its how you deal with the cards you’ve been dealt with that matter.

It happens to the best of us, that deep feeling of despair, melancholy or utter disgust. We always see the next guy doing better financially, academically, or even in love.

Fact check, our minds exaggerate situations. Things are not as bad as they look, just change the lens you are viewing the world with.

It seems hard. Heck, it is hard but history has proved that the human psyche has the power to overcome all obstacles thrown at it.

Look at the Jews in the torture chambers of the mad man Hitler. Millions died but those who made it out went ahead to build some of the most profitable and famous brands in history. Noteworthy Jewish families were forged out of this unfortunate period of history.

The phrase “make lemonade with lemons” nicely fits here, right?

  1. Tenacity

Have you ever crossed paths with safari ants? Well, I have. It wasn’t a pleasant experience.

For years the safari ant has featured as a medical aid in the jungles of Africa and the Amazon. For big cuts, the village doctor simply utilizes the powerful bite of the ant. Once the ants bite they never let go. The village shaman simply separates the ants head from its body and there you have it, environmentally friendly, cheap, biodegradable, and hygienic sutures.

Be tenacious as the ant. When you bite never release, life will give you many deep gashes that will need extraordinary sutures to survive.

2. Commitment

What does the Macaroni Penguin, sandhill swan, sea horse, and barn owl have in common? Apart from being animals, they are all fiercely monogamous.

The phrase “Till death do us part” has been in use since the time of Jesus 2000 years ago.

There must be some truth to these words, after all, even animals subscribe to this mantra. Having a laser focus, commitment to a goal gives you an edge. When you ruminate over something for long then surely you master it.

Thomas Edison tried countless times before he was finally able to produce a light bulb.

Everything in this life requires the utmost commitment and sacrifice.

Ready to elevate to the next level? Then commit yourself!!

3. Dream Big

A young Jewish boy once dreamt of ruling the ancient Roman kingdom even though the Jews were subjugated to the Romans. The Jewish boy's dream was so ludicrous, right?

Wrong, his dreams were valid.

Why? because they were HIS dreams and dreams do come true if you dream hard enough.

He didn’t become a big General or fancy Emperor, but he did become the Governor of all the grain stores of the land. The boy was Joseph of the bible.

Dreams do come true when coupled with tangible effort, desire, and planning but it all starts as a dream.

So feel free to dream big, bigger than your greatest Imagination. Dream yourself to oblivion but walk the talk and back it up with tangible effort.

4. Set Goals

Setting goals sounds like a cliche. All the mid and end-year resolutions you have never followed.

Imagine traveling through a big highway to a foreign land. If the road did not have proper signage then definitely, you would soon be hopelessly lost.

Goals are like signposts on the road telling you of your progress. Set tangible, attainable goals. Short, medium, and long-term goals are all Important on your journey to success.

Properly mark your highway to success to avoid getting lost.

5. Positive Attitude

A proper attitude is 95% winning the race. All successful people have a winning mentality.

“The greatest discovery of all time is that a person can change by merely changing his attitude.” — Oprah Winfrey.

Positive people are usually more likable, smarter, and successful. There is a direct correlation between having a positive attitude and success.

Looking at a glass as half full rather than half empty, seeing the rainbow through the storm. That's the winning mentality.

Success usually follows those who are mentally and physically prepared to receive it.

Change your thoughts, your thoughts will change your words, your words will change your actions and your actions will change your life.

6. Learn Everyday

Nobody knows everything, that much is pretty obvious. How then do successful people manage to excel in almost everything they set out to do?

It’s quite simple, they learn every day. The human mind is amazing. It's like a sponge absorbing data every minute.

Be careful what you feed your mind with.

Remember Garbage In Garbage Out.

Endeavor to learn something new and beneficial every day. Eventually, the accumulation of all this knowledge will aid you along your success journey.

Borrow a leaf from a baby. Be inquisitive and excited about life. Chase your dreams while having fun.

It's never that serious so don't sacrifice your morals and integrity on the altar of success. Its not worth it.

There are many dogmas, mantras, and theories on success out there but these six listed above are foundation blocks to winning.

Rigorously Implement these strategies and success will soon knock on your door
